1. Introduction
Medivo (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a mobile application designed to help users organize medicine reminders, doctor appointments, family profiles, and health reports. This policy describes the categories of information that may be handled through the app and this marketing website. The final published policy must be checked against the actual app and website configuration.
2. Information you may provide
Depending on the features you use, information may include your name or profile details, family profile information, medicine names and schedules, dosage instructions entered by you, doctor details, appointment information, and health reports or documents you upload. Health information can be sensitive. Please use the app thoughtfully and only add information you are authorized to manage.
3. Local storage and Firebase
The Medivo mobile app may use local storage on your device and Firebase services for app functionality, depending on the enabled configuration. Local data may remain on a device until it is removed through the app, device settings, or other applicable controls. Data stored in Firebase may be processed on infrastructure operated by Google under the relevant service terms. The exact services, storage locations, retention periods, and deletion behavior must be confirmed by the Medivo team before publication.
4. Health reports and documents
If you upload health reports in the mobile app, those files and related information may be handled by the storage systems configured for the app. Do not upload information you are not authorized to share. The public marketing website does not accept medical report uploads. This policy should be updated to describe the actual storage, access controls, backup, and deletion process used for uploaded reports.
5. Reminders and device permissions
Medivo may use local notifications or push notification services to provide reminders, depending on the app configuration and the permissions you grant. Delivery may be affected by notification settings, battery optimization, connectivity, operating-system behavior, and other technical factors. Do not rely on app notifications as the sole method of remembering critical medication or medical appointments.
6. Third-party services and advertising
The app may use Firebase services and Google AdMob if enabled in the released version. These providers may process technical identifiers, diagnostics, advertising identifiers, or other data as described in their own documentation and privacy terms. Analytics or advertising disclosures must reflect only the SDKs and features actually included in the app. Do not assume that third-party processing is absent where a provider SDK is enabled.
7. Information on this website
This marketing website is intended to provide product information and contact details. The static website does not intentionally collect health records. If you use the contact link or contact form, your email application may handle the message and the information you choose to include. Avoid sending detailed medical records by ordinary email.
8. Retention and deletion
Retention depends on the storage method and app configuration. You may be able to remove information through app controls or by contacting us. Some data may persist in backups or logs for a limited period, where applicable. The Medivo team should document and publish the actual deletion process and retention periods before launch.
9. Security
We aim to use appropriate safeguards for the services we operate. No digital system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Do not publish credentials or share sensitive health information unnecessarily. Security measures, access rules, Firebase security rules, and storage permissions must be verified against the production configuration.
10. Your choices and requests
You may contact us to ask about personal information, request correction or deletion where applicable, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity and clarify the request before taking action. Your rights may depend on applicable law and the services involved.
11. Children and family profiles
If you create or manage a family profile, you are responsible for ensuring that you have appropriate authority to enter and manage that person's information. Any features intended for children must be reviewed against applicable consent and privacy requirements before use.
12. Processing and service providers
Service providers may process information in locations outside your state or country, subject to their service terms and applicable law. Confirm the Firebase project region, provider arrangements, and any cross-border processing before publishing a definitive statement.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app, its providers, or applicable requirements change. The updated version will show a revised last-updated date. Material changes should be communicated where required.
